Modern Japanese

Today, Japanese is very popular all over the world. And the foreign students to Japan keeps increasing. Japanese is different by age and area is talked. Recently, I often see wearing the clothes which Japanese is written in the town. Since the Second World War Japanese boom is caused. And Japanese changes every day. They are originally used in a different meaning, and there are the words which they are shortened.
My theme is “Japanese language change”. I think that change and disorder of words are related to the Japanese language change. In other words they have a different grammatical pattern and usual pronunciation. Moreover it is changed by the overuse of Japanese English and slang words and the trendy words. Japanese English combine with English and it is made like English. Essentially, English doesn’t have expression these. The word is called “Japanese English” in Japan, but this word is Japanese English, too. The famous example is cooler. Cooler is Japanese, cooler is air conditioner in English. Other examples are side-brake, it means hand brake or parking brake in English. Slang words is the language that boys and girls use routinely and the language are mainly used only among young people. As for the slang words, there are very various kinds of words. For example, maji(まじ), bimyo(微妙), uzai(ウザい), and cho(超) and so on. Maji is short for majime(真面目) in Japanese, and it means serious in English. And this word is used as emphasis or expression of the credibility. It also comes from literature is called "gay-quarter novelette"(洒落本) of Edo era. It was used as a noun in Edo era, but it is used as an adverb now. Bimyo means subtle. This word is originally used in a different meaning among the young people. Even the meaning called "the thing which is splendid so as not to be able to express it by words" is originally used. And this comes from a Buddhism term. Uzai means uttoshii(うっとうし い) or mendou(面倒) in Japanese, and it means annoying in English. It is originally Tama dialect of Tokyo. Uzai is short for "uzattai". Cho means very. This word is to express the emphasis of the words. The kind of the constitution of slang words has ten.First is to shorten them, for example, “uzai”(ウザい) “syukatsu”(就活). Second is to invert them, for example, “derumo”(derumo) means model. Third is to mix. Fourth is add -er, and change words. Fifth use foreign language. Sixth changes noun into verb. Seventh uses an onomatopoeia or a mimetic word. Eighth shows the image. Ninth expand the conventional meaning. Finally is others, for example “~teki”(~的), “~kei”(~ 系).Trendy words are fashionable words and phrases. It is often true that the trendy words becomes stop being used and die off over time as the word at one time. For example, the dead language is "abekku"(アベック) and "sucyuwa-desu"(スチュワーデス). Abbeku means couple, scyuwa-desu means　flight attendant. "Abekku" is couple","suchuwa－desu" is "kyakushitsu-jyomuin" are used in Japan now.But, there are words that become fixed as idiom phrase. A prize was made that is called “The new word/ trendy word grand prix” in 1984, and since then the commendation ceremony has been performed. And the example of the trendy words are guerrilla-gouu(ゲリラ豪雨), ara-four(アラフォー), ara-kan(アラ還), metabolic syndrome and konkatsu(婚活) and so on. Guerrila-gouu means downpour, ara-four means around 40 years, ara-kan means around 60th birthday and konkatsu means marriage activity in English. In this connection, "The new word/ trendy word grand prix of 2009" was announced on December 1st. The grand prix is "seiken-koutai"(政権交代) which Mr. Hatoyama of the Prime Minister got the prize. In addition, words such as "kodomo-tencho"(子供店長)and "shingata-infuruenza"(新型インフルエンザ)got the prize.
Japanese is different by a place and sex and age and so on. And trendy word changes with the time. So the words that our parents used are different from the words that we use. I think that Japanese changes more after this. Original Japanese may disappear in the future.

My dream has come true!!!

There was the pass announcement of the student overseas yesterday afternoon, and I passed it. I saw this publication with my friends.
Then I said, "I can't believe my eyes!". And I cannot still believe it. But I can go to Italy to study. I wanted to go to Italy for more than one year, so I am really happy to have my dream realized now. My family and friens were pleased very much.
I don't know the details yet, but I tell you as soon as I know the details.
For now I I feel temporarily relieved.

I Love dogs:)

This is my cousin's dog, this dog's name is Nami.
Nami is female and puppy. She is Kuro-shiba (黒柴) and 5 months.
I went to cousin's house to meet her the other day. My cousin's house is in Osaka.
I love dogs very much, because they are very cute and give to spirit the my heart.
I walked her for two hours with my younger sister.
I had a dog one. Maybe six years ago. The dog's name is Tom. Tom is Shiba-inu (柴犬).
When he was 16 years old, he was senile and died.. When he died I was very very sad. I still remember the day clearly.
And now I want to have a dog. Of course I want to Shiba-inu:)
But my mother oppose to have a dog, because it isn't easy to have a dog.
I understand that mother says. What should I do?
Please give me some advice.

relaxation

Hello, everyone. How are you?
I'm just feeling a little depressed, because there was an unpleasant thing on the weekend.
But, I became slightly cheerful because I'll can meet everybody tomorrow.
When I meet everybody, I can get well, so I'm looking forward to meet everybody tomorrow.

When I am depressed and feel stress, I try various things to be relaxed. For example, I light the candle, burn the incense and aroma oil, listening to music that the feeling is settled down and so on. In addition, I go to the beauty treatment salon, go to Karaoke and sing song and talking with my friend in the cafe.
How are you relaxed? Please tell me.

By the way, I tried to make short movie (proverb movie), I couldn't it.
I can't use the computer well, it's difficult for me...

World Heritage Site

Hello, everyone:) How are you? I'm fine.

Today I 'll write about weekend of last week.

I visited Shimogami-jinja shrine and Kamigamo-jinja shrine with my friend.

These two places are registered with World heritage and there are in Kyoto.
Kyoto has a lot of places that are registered elsewhere. Do you know where is registered?

For example, Kiyomizu-dera temple, To-ji temple, Byodo-in temple, Rokuon-ji temple(Kinkaku-ji temple), Jisho-ji temple(Ginkaku-ji temple) and so on.

These buildings were built by the great persons very in old days.

Shimogamo-jinja shrine and Kamigamo-jinja shrine is very famous take place Aoi Festival in May 15th.

Do you know Aoi Festival? It is the one of three Kyoto big festivals.Three Kyoto big festivals are Aoi Festival and Gion Festival and Jidai Festival.

Kyoto is the city where there is the very deep history. Tourists will increase from now on because Kyoto is the season of colored leaves.
I am going to go to Arashiyama in November, too.

☆★☆Orion shooting stars★☆★

Hi, everyone!! How is it going? I'm fine, but I am sleepy a little.

Did you see Orion shooting stars? I cannot see them yet...

Though I saw the sky last night, I didn't see the shooting stars.

I like observe the stars very much, so I want to see Orion shooting stars.

I am going to see them tonight:)☆

Today, I had a class only first period, so I watched DVD in the library.

I watched "The Little Mermaid", this is Disney movie.

This movie is old, it was released in Japan in 1989.

The main character of this story is Little Mermaid, her name is Ariel.

One day, she goes to the terrestrial world and she meets a handsome prince and falls in love...

I felt very happy when I watched this movie. There is a sequel for this movie, I want to watch it.

Today is my mother's birthday, so I bought a birthday cake.

I came home and I went to buy presents for my mother with my younger sister.

And I cooked banquet for my mother. She said me "delicious", so I was very happy.

Regrettably, I forgot to take those photographs...

Today is very nice day for me♪
